The original choir web page has had to be renewed hopefully better than ever although some items have been retained and they speak for themselves.

During a normal concert season from previous statistics the choir has had the ability to raise annual amounts in the region of £8000 for various charitable good causes and small organisations.

     Past    Present  and future

This web page commenced in 2015  and having achieved 100,000 hits by June 2019 both from the enquisitive, followers and choir members keeping up to date with choir events and information as a whole the figure was reset and now reading 68000 We must be doing something right. When we are permitted to meet again, rehearse and the opportunity to hold live entertainment is restored please don't hesitate to contact us.

Following the choir AGM Long Serving member Brian Johnson has taken on the mantle of choir Chairman.  He has the choirs full support  in his steady hand at the helm..

What can you say about this great stalwart of the choir, having relinquished the role of chairman at the last AGM, he now steps forward once again to continue his long and distinguished service by taking on the role of deputy Chairman in order to provide his valued guidance to assist chairman Brian.

The choir are grateful  that long serving member Allan G Wright has agreed to take on the role of Choir Treasurer to replace Stephen Klek who has stepped down from this position. We fully understand Steve's reasons for doing so  and look to Allan as we move on.

Following the choirs AGM, Baritone Neil Munro has kindly taken up the mantle of Choir Secretary. and typical of the man has quickly stamped his authority on this sometimes difficult, delicate and at times sensitive role in the choirs management and we are thankful for his steady  and firm hand.

It is with great sadness we announce that David Winsor who has been our accompanist since 2015 has decided to retire from this role. We will miss his  sensitive accompanist contributions to the choir, and guest  soloists, his genial demeaner and witty sense of humour. We wish him the very best and will remember him with fondness and affection.

We aim to be a caring group of singers, having a genuine interest in every member of the choir team, This involves choristers wives, partners and families. To ensure that we look after each other please remember that communication is very important. Please inform any choir member if you require assistance or advice and we will do our very best to assist as necessary. Thoughtful acts are important.

CURRENT- Our thoughts are for those choristers  who are this moment in time  suffering ill health or dealing with family health or job/ career issues which is having a severe impact on them and their families. We continue to keep in touch and wish them all a speedy resolution to these issues
